Up for sale, a 2007 ESP Edwards E-SA-125LTS in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and hangtag. A premium Japanese-made iteration of the 335 platform, the “Lacquer Taste Series” E-SA-125LTS features a carved maple top and back, a one-piece mahogany neck, factory installed USA-made Seymour Duncan humbuckers, and a satin nitro lacquer Sunburst finish.
Unlike a Gibson ES-335 which has all laminate body construction, this Edwards boasts a solid, carved maple top and back, delivering a cutting midrange and a bold, muscular low end via the mahogany centerblock. Dynamic and clear, these defining qualities translate well through the USA-made Seymour Duncan humbuckers, with an SH-2N Jazz in the neck position and SH-14 Custom at the bridge. The SH-2N boasts an Alnico V bar magnet and a special coil wind for a glassy treble response and full, tight bass, while scooped mids ensure notes are even and clear-sounding with high gain. The SH-14 is a brighter, Alnico V version of the popular Custom Custom humbucker. It has a full tone, also with some tailoring of the midrange, with balanced bass/treble frequencies. This E-SA-125LTS weighs 7lbs 11oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
