Up for sale, a 2006 Gibson ES-335 Dot in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with a molded hardshell case. Replicating the feature set of Gibson’s golden age ES-335 circa 1959-62, this ES boasts a highly figured maple body, augmented with a number of premium, player-friendly features including Seymour Duncan SH55 Seth Lover PAF humbuckers, a TonePros AVR2 bridge/tailpiece, Grover Rotomatic tuners, and a refret with 6100 jumbo fretwire.
Traditional tonewoods include a semi-hollow flame maple body, maple centerblock, mahogany neck, and bound rosewood fingerboard, delivering a cutting midrange and a bold, muscular low end. Dynamic and clear, these defining qualities translate well through the Seymour Duncan SH55 Seth Lover PAF humbuckers. Named after the architect of the PAF and surgically accurate in their materials and tonal response to Gibson’s golden age humbucker, these pickups deliver a warm, open tone with a smooth-yet-articulate sound and just the right balance of lows and trebles. This ES-355 Dot weighs 7lbs 15oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
