Up for sale, a 2004 Mosrite "Eurorite" model in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. A non-production model purportedly made for a trade show, excruciatingly little is known about the genesis of the Eurorite model, and only a couple examples have been documented.
Manufactured by Fillmore in Japan under their Mosrite license, the angled triple pickup design of the Eurorite evokes the Mosrite VIII model offered by Semie Moseley in the 1980s (also in extremely small quantities). Governed by a five-way blade pickup selector, the trio of pickups include a bridge pickup wound to a whopping 16k ohms, and neck/middle pickups wound to a more conservative, yet still plenty powerful, 8k ohms. Each setting on the pickup selector is distinct, with plenty of ripping midrange and slightly nasally twang from the bridge pickup, and smoother, more bell-like spank in the middle and neck positions.
Beyond its unique electronics, this Mosrite is a stunningly-accurate iteration of the Ventures model platform, featuring deep German Carve on the body, a slender, fast-feeling neck carve, smooth knobs and pickup covers, and a sandcast Vibramute tailpiece. Weighing 8lbs 1oz, this Mosrite has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with fresh 10-46 strings, low action and spot-on intonation.

The dark Candy Apple Red gloss finish highlights the notably deep German Carve on top, with a particularly prominently carved treble-side body horn. Cosmetic wear includes some small dings across the body and on the back edge of the headstock volute, with vertical finish checking across the body as well. The gloss finish on the neck profile is nigh flawless.
The original hardshell case with brown faux alligator tolex, brown leather ends, and form-fit interior is included.
