Up for sale, a 2004 Gretsch 6120 Reverend Horton Heat signature model G6120RHH in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with an upgraded “cowboy” hardshell case, CoA, and factory paperwork. One of Gretsch’s more distinct artist models, this Rev. Horton Heat 6120 was built to the specifications of the Psychobilly pioneer, featuring the unique combination of 1955-style Gretsch Western aesthetics and 1958-style electronics. Other premium touches include TV Jones pickups, a gloss Western Orange lacquer finish, Sperzel locking tuners, “G” brand, clear plexi pickguard, and a Bigsby B6 vibrato with a ‘50s-style contoured arm.

With fully hollow maple construction and trestle bracing, this G6120RHH has a rich, percussive voice when strummed acoustically that translates well through the TV Jones Classic Filter’Tron humbuckers. Plugged in, this 6120 has a broad sonic range, offering a punchy, sparkling bridge position sound that has plenty of muscle and breadth. The neck pickup is fat and smooth, with a thickness and bark that retains enough clarity for complex chording. This Rev. Horton Heat weighs 7lbs 2oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.
