Up for sale, a 2004 Fender Aerodyne Telecaster ATL-70 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This uncommon Fender Japan offering, introduced in 2004, sports a bevy of unique features including a contoured top framed by cream binding, a matching headstock, and a P-90 pickup in the neck position.
This Telecaster features a basswood body, maple neck, and thick slab rosewood fretboard, producing a smooth, balanced acoustic voice faithfully captured by the stock pickup complement. The traditional Tele bridge pickup delivers plenty of twang and bite with a shimmering top end. The soapbar P-90 in the neck position has a midrange-forward bark, warm with plenty of growl and presence, and the two pickups blend well for a thick sound with great articulation. This Aerodyne weighs 7lbs 9oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
