2000s Mosrite Ventures Model Super Custom 65 Gold w/ Gold Hardware, Vibramute & Case, Kurokumo

Up for sale, a 2000s Mosrite Ventures Model Super Custom 65 vintage reissue in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. An extremely rare custom color model, this Mosrite was made at the Kurokumo factory in Japan. KuroKumo-made Mosrites are sought after for their build quality and attention to detail, and this particularly ostentatious example boasts a gloss Gold custom color finish accented by gold-plated hardware throughout.

This Super Custom 65 replicates all the essential features of the early Ventures Model instruments, with smooth knobs, a sandcast Vibramute tailpiece, and a German Carve on the basswood body. The pickups are slightly more conservatively wound than their USA-made counterparts, still yielding plenty of power, percussive cut, and sparkling treble articulation. This Super Custom 65 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar, dialed in with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

Exceedingly well-kept, there are just a few faint marks on the gloss Gold finish. The smooth gloss on the neck profile is flawless and highlights subtle flame figuring in the maple.
