Up for sale, a 2000 Gibson Flying V '98 Limited Edition model in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. A model available for a few short years at the turn of the century the V '98 (as advertised by Gibson during its first year of production), offers control layout and jack placement of a Flying V circa 1958, also boasting a distinctive Natural Burst gloss nitro lacquer finish.

Tonewoods include a mahogany body and neck capped by a slab rosewood fretboard, and this construction yields a smooth growl and fundamental warmth, channeled through the stock pair of 496R and 500T humbuckers. The 496R produces incredible sustain and cutting power with its ceramic magnet construction, offering searing trebles and increased definition, ensuring no muddiness in high gain scenarios. The 500T is one of Gibson’s most powerful pickups, containing a three ceramic magnet structure, which enables a no-holds-barred rock and roll crunch that never loses its rich combination of enhanced lows and crystal clear highs. This V '98 weighs 7lbs 10oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
