Up for sale, a 2000 Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay 5H in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. As the next landmark company founded by Leo Fender and George Fullerton after the sale of Fender Musical Instruments, Music Man offered an opportunity for this dynamic duo to further refine and build upon Fender's various innovations. The five-string iteration of EBMM’s crown jewel bass, the StingRay 5H features a solitary bridge humbucker, active EQ, asymmetrical extended pickguard, and a gloss Pearl Platinum finish with matching headstock.

Weighing 9lbs 6oz, this bass features an ash body and a maple neck capped with a slab rosewood fingerboard, yielding a balanced, broad acoustic quality with great treble detail and midrange push. The original Magnet Special Design alnico humbucker offers punchy growl and thick, round thump, capturing the full, rumbling scope of all five strings. The active electronics include a three-band EQ with boost/cut center-detent knobs and a three-way selector switch to toggle between Series, Parallel, and Single Coil sounds. This StingRay 5H has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.
