This versatile distortion pedal offers both 12AX7A-driven tube distortion and edgy, modern solid state distortion in one unit, with an expression pedal that can dictate both Output Level and Drive Level for maximum flexibility.
Further dynamism is achieved via the unique Mix mode, which can toggle between Tube and Diode modes, but also is uniquely responsive to user inputs; when playing softly, the signal is only routed through the tube section, with mellow warmth that compliments the playing style, and if you dig in, the tube section is mixed with the screaming aggression of the diode section for massive tones. Additionally, users can switch between Smooth and Passion modes: the former yields a gradual change between tube and diode while the latter is abrupt, a very unique sound. The footswitch can be bypassed, and there are Low and High EQ knobs for tonal sculpting precision.
