Up for sale, a 1998 Orville Les Paul Custom model LPC-75 in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and long ago discontinued, this Orville is an official Gibson-licensed guitar and a result of a partnership between Gibson USA and their Japanese distributor Yamano Gakki. Named after Gibson's founder, Orville Gibson, this particular guitar was crafted at the Fujigen factory in the last year of Orville production prior to the brand’s dissolution.
Featuring the classic tonewood complement of a solid mahogany body, carved maple top, mahogany neck, and bound rosewood fretboard, this LPC-75 weighs 10lbs 3oz, dishing out plenty of natural resonance and sustain. The pair of humbuckers are tonally firmly in the PAF range, with excellent clarity and responsiveness to picking dynamics, offering sweet growl in the trebles, clear low end and a scooped midrange. The neck is girthy and warm, while the bridge pickup has a more focused midrange bite. This Les Paul Custom LPC-75 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Alpine White finish is very bright, framed by multi-ply binding, and there is a small rectangular "tan line" just above the fretboard extension on the bass side from a previously removed sticker. Extremely clean, cosmetic wear is limited to a bit of light wear on top from wrist jewelry, and a few minor dings on the back. The gloss on the neck profile is flawless.
A gigbag is included, along with the hangtags.
