Up for sale, a 1997 Ibanez J. Custom RG1712-RV in 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. This rare Ibanez was crafted at the Fujigen factory as part of the upscale J. Custom line, only produced for one year, featuring a quilted maple top with a gloss Royal Violet finish, DiMarzio humbuckers, and a Lo-Pro Edge tremolo.
Tonewoods include a mahogany body with a two-piece quilted maple top, three-piece maple neck, and a 24-fret rosewood fretboard. The humbucker in the bridge position is a DiMarzio Tone Zone, a bold and powerful high-output pickup that offers great low end and lower-midrange response to ensure the tone stays full and fat. The neck humbucker is a DiMarzio Air Norton, a warm, open-sounding pickup designed with a unique magnetic structure to reduce string pull and increase sustain while maintaining dynamic feel and responsiveness to user inputs. The five-way pickup selector also coil taps the humbuckers in positions 2 and 4. This Ibanez weighs 8lbs 12oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.
