Up for sale, a 1997 Fender American Vintage ‘62 Stratocaster in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, finished in custom color Shoreline Gold and complete with the original G&G hardshell case and hangtags.
Discontinued years ago, this Stratocaster is loaded with Fender’s American Vintage 57/62 black bobbin single coils, wound to vintage-spec with staggered alnico magnets and push-back, cloth-covered leads. This Strat can sparkle and quack with the best. Whether it's the biting spank of the bridge position, the extra warmth and bell-like chime that comes from the neck single coil, or the thinned-out cut via the "in between" positions on the five-way switch (original three-way included), this Strat is simply a delight to play. The instrument is very resonant acoustically as well, weighing 8lbs 3oz with an alder body. This Strat has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar, dialed in with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss custom color Shoreline Gold nitro lacquer finish is extremely clean, with barely a mark on the body. The nitro on the neck profile has been brought down from a high gloss to a satin-esque feel.
The original brown tolex G&G Deluxe hardshell case is included, along with the hangtags and original plastics.
