Up for sale, a 1995 Grover Jackson Limited Edition Black Light King V in excellent condition and in perfect working order. This exceptionally rare Jackson was among the highest-tiered Jackson/Charvel King V models ever crafted at the Chushin Gakki factory in Japan; the Black Light series was a premium, limited run collection of Jackson’s six biggest models, boasting Seymour Duncan pickups, neck-through construction, and sleek all-Black aesthetics, with only 200 of each model produced.
The quartersawn rock maple neck ensures excellent articulation, paired with alder body wings and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard. The Seymour Duncan TB-5 Custom Trembucker at the bridge has an aggressive, focused midrange, potent treble attack, and exceptional sustain, perfect for screaming solos. The neck pickup is a Grover Jackson J-50 ceramic humbucker, yielding a full sound with great definition and tight, responsive lows. This Black Light King V weighs 7lbs 12oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.
