Up for sale, a 1995 Greco “FV” Flying V in excellent condition and in perfect working order. A model with an unusual and upscale set of features evoking a circa ‘67 model Gibson, this Greco V was crafted at the Fujigen factory in Japan. Given available source date codes on the electronics and the serial number, this V appears to pair a body/neck/hardware of a Greco from 1995 with earlier electronics, boasting 1982-dated Maxon-made PU-2 humbuckers.

Absolutely featherweight at 5lbs 9oz, tonewoods include a mahogany body and a mahogany neck capped with a rosewood fretboard The Maxon-made PU-2 humbuckers are wound firmly in the PAF vein, delivering a rich bark and treble sweetness in the bridge position, with spongy lows and a musical, dynamic character when toggling towards the neck. This Greco V has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
