{"product_id":"1994-rickenbacker-360-12-semi-hollowbody-12-string-white-bt-near-mint-w-case","title":"1994 Rickenbacker 360\/12 Semi-Hollowbody 12 String White BT, Near Mint w\/ Case","description":"Up for sale, a 1994 Rickenbacker 360\/12 in near mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and manual. Unlike the \"glo\"-suffix finishes on most Rics, this rare custom color finish is simply categorize as \"White,\" framed by black binding and accented by black hardware, an uncommon iteration earning it the \"BT\" designation which stands for \"Black Trim.\"The tone is everything you expect from a Rickenbacker, with chime, sparkle and shimmer from the 12 string configuration that conjures the sonic signature of the British Invasion and folk boom of the '60s. The chorusing strings jangle with plenty of top end and balanced, focused lows as well. Even though the single coil pickups are dubbed \"Hi-Gain\" by Rickenbacker, their moderate output allows the treble character to shine through with balanced midrange and just the right amount of percussive cut. The guitar weighs 8lbs 6oz, professionally setup here at Mike \u0026amp; Mike's Guitar Bar with fresh strings and easy-playing action.The three-piece maple\/walnut neck has a chunky C-shaped profile carve with consistent depth as you travel up the neck, offering round but not overt shoulders and lightly rolled fretboard edges, measuring .905\" deep at the 1st fret and a fractionally more slender .895\" at the 12th. The original slender frets are flawless, playing cleanly up the 24 3\/4\" scale, and the dual truss rod design keeps the neck arrow straight with ideal relief. The nut measures 1.650\" in width. On the headstock, the Rickenbacker logo\/truss rod cover is present, along with original black Schaller tuning machines which work as they should, turning smoothly and holding pitch well.All of the electronics work as they should, and the wiring harness features untouched solder joints and original CTS pots that date to the 25th week of '93. The \"D7\" prefix serial number on the jack plate dates manufacture to April of 1994. All of the hardware is original, and the black plating shows sparingly little wear (the Black Trim Rickenbackers come stock with chrome-plated bridges, while the bridge base and cover are plated in black). Plastic parts include the dual-tiered black pickguards, stock knobs, and baton switch tip.The gloss White finish is bright and stunningly clean with virtually no aging of the clear coat and only a couple microscopic nicks on the body as a whole. There is some minor finish chipping and a touch of isolated cloudiness in the clear coat on the back edge of the neck heel, purely cosmetic and unrelated to the structural integrity of the joint.The original black tolex hardshell case is included, along with the original Rickenbacker manual.","brand":"Rickenbacker","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":43154693652736,"sku":"D79337","price":4099.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0550\/4437\/4714\/products\/medium_b0a6ecbc-3855-4d0c-addc-1c55fc1436bf.jpg?v=1751506061","url":"https:\/\/mmguitarbar.com\/products\/1994-rickenbacker-360-12-semi-hollowbody-12-string-white-bt-near-mint-w-case","provider":"Mike \u0026 Mike's Guitar Bar","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
