Up for sale, a 1994 Ibanez Iceman IC500 in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and hangtags. Not to be confused with the lower tiered model sharing the same designation, this IC500 Iceman was from an extremely limited, non-catalog production run at Japan's Fujigen factory (purportedly around 200 instruments total).
A very rare iteration of the iconic model slung by Paul Stanley on KISS' Alive II and by Cheap Trick At Budokan, this IC500 Iceman features a mahogany body and a mahogany set neck with a sculpted heel, capped with a bound 22 fret Indian rosewood fingerboard. The Ibanez V7 and V8 humbuckers offer sizzling highs and extremely punchy, focused low end, engineered to handle the thickest onslaught of gain while retaining notable clarity and note definition. This Iceman is lightweight at 7lbs 1oz, benefiting from a professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.
