Up for sale, a 1994 Fender Stratocaster ‘54 vintage reissue model ST54-53 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This “Made in Japan” Strat was offered exclusively in the Japanese domestic market, uncommon outside its country of origin.

This Strat has a smooth, articulate acoustic tone with ample top end chime captured by the original trio of single coil pickups. These ceramic magnet pickups have more punch and power than the typical alnico design, sounding distinct and clear in all positions on the five-way switch, and delivering quintessential Strat quack at the in-between positions. This Strat weighs 7lbs 9oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action and accurate intonation.

Cosmetic wear on the gloss two-tone Sunburst finish is limited to a prominent ding on the back at the belly contour, a scant few additional tiny marks on the lower bout perimeter, and a handful of faint finish scratches in the clear coat on the body as a whole. The ambered gloss on the neck profile is flawless.
