Up for sale, a 1992 Grover Jackson Soloist Standard HH in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with a molded hardshell case. A rare Japanese domestic market model, the Grover Jackson instruments were the precursors to the Jackson Stars line, expertly crafted at the Chu Shin factory. This upper-tiered Soloist features neck-through construction with a contoured heel, a Schaller Floyd Rose-licensed tremolo, a pair of Jackson humbuckers, and a gloss Pearl Violet White finish.
Tonewoods include a quartersawn maple neck capped by a bound 24-fret rosewood fingerboard and yellow poplar body wings, ensuring ideal natural resonance and sustain. The powerful Jackson J-80 humbucker in the bridge position is big and bold, with aggressive highs and a balanced midrange, while the J-50N in the neck position offers great contrast, wound in the traditional PAF-style mold, smooth and detailed with clear treble growl and a scooped midrange. This Soloist Standard HH weighs 8lbs 5oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.
