First introduced in 1994, the Rev G Dual Rectifier is versatile and dynamic, with a dual channel design, 100W output, and a quartet of 6L6 power tubes (the head can also accommodate EL34s), offering the user the ability to toggle between tube rectifiers and silicon diode rectification.A near ubiquitous presence in the world of modern rock, Dual Rectifiers are known for their expert construction and monster tones, and the Revision G features a footswitchable two-channel design and an FX loop. The Red and Orange channels essentially have parallel circuitry, with independent Master Volume, Presence, Bass, Mid, Treble, and Gain controls. By default, the Orange channel is vintage voiced, and the Red is modern, but the two can be swapped. Additionally, the Orange channel has a two-way Gain select switch to toggle between Variable High Gain (Normal) and Clean Rhythm, which reins in the scope of the amp slightly.The back panel offers 4, 8, and 16 ohm speaker outs, Slave controls, a five-position Loop Select rotary switch, Effects Loop send and return mix controls, 6L6\/EL34 switch, and tube\/diode rectifier switch.
