Up for sale, a 1990s Edwards by ESP Luna Sea J signature model E-J-78TV in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. This rare bass was crafted in Japan by ESP under the Edwards banner; it’s a signature model for Jun Onose, better known as J, the bass player (and founder) of Luna Sea, one of the most successful and influential bands in Japan’s visual kei movement.
This E-J-78TV pairs Gibson Double Cut Special-style aesthetics with a full 34” scale length, 24-fret ebony fingerboard, and passive EMG-inspired EW-1B humbuckers. The humbuckers channel a well-defined, broadband sound, with full bottom end, rich mids, and a crisp treble response. This E-J-98TV weighs 8lbs 13oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, comfortable action, and accurate intonation.
