Up for sale, a 1990 Mosrite Ventures Model Bass in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This uncommon instrument was produced by KuroKumo, an official Mosrite licensee in Japan for a number of decades, largely faithful to ‘66-style spec with two single coil pickups, a three-way pickup selector switch, “M”-stamped knobs, and molded Mosrite logo pickup covers. This particular Ventures Model Bass is notable for boasting an uncommon long 33 3/4“ scale, seen on exceedingly few Mosrite Bass reissues.

The single coil pickups still offer plenty of natural growl and roundness, with great midrange character and a distinctive smooth-yet-aggressive quality unique to Mosrite basses. This Ventures Model Bass has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.
