Up for sale, a 1989 Gibson Les Paul Special in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. This Les Paul Special was produced during an increasingly heralded era of Gibson production colloquially known as the “good wood” era, with vintage-spec features including a wraparound tailpiece and Kluson-style tuners.

Offering the same solid mahogany platform as a '50s Special, this instrument has plenty of natural midrange warmth and growl. The P-100 pickups deliver P-90 bark, glassy treble presence, and midrange power, and the second dummy coil ensures hum-free performance. This Les Paul Special weighs 7lbs 15oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action and accurate intonation.

The original brown tolex Gibson USA hardshell case with pink plush interior is included. The original locking latch works as intended (code 000), the stock handle is present, and all but one of the latches is functional.
