The DK-085-SSH features a yellow poplar body, quartersawn rock maple neck, and slab 22-fret rosewood fretboard. The powerful Jackson J-90 ultra high-output, distortion class humbucker in the bridge position is big and bold, delivering thick, ripping drive that translates to monster chords and singing, white-hot melodic playing. The pair of J-100XL single coils in the middle and neck positions feature Alnico V magnet construction with ample snap and cut, and the five-way blade pickup selector switch offers a variety of voicing options via the SSH configuration.
