Up for sale, a 1988 Greco Super Real K-FA in exceptional condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. This rare Greco is an exceedingly faithful take on the classic Gretsch 6120 platform, featuring a fully hollow maple body with trestle bracing, a maple neck capped with a bound rosewood fretboard and thumbnail inlay, and an upgraded pair of genuine Gretsch Filter’Tron pickups.

Thanks to the hollowbody construction and trestle bracing, this guitar has a naturally full and detailed acoustic tone that translates faithfully via the upgraded Filter’Tron humbucker pair. These pickups are bold and punchy, distinct in each pickup position and offering plenty of gutsy treble snap. Weighing 7lbs 12oz, this Greco has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-49 roundwound strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.

The gloss Western Orange finish highlights subtle figuring in the maple, and the tint and saturation is faithful to late-1950s examples of Gretsch's 6120 model. Cosmetic wear is limited to light buckle rash on the back and a handful of minor finish scratches on the body as a whole, largely relegated to the perimeter and back. The neck profile retains its smooth gloss, with a scant few shallow marks on the profile length.

The original black tolex hardshell case is included.
