Up for sale, a 1988 Greco Collection Series model EGW-80 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This rare Greco was produced at the Fujigen factory exclusively for the Japanese domestic market, faithfully capturing the finer points of the uncommon Les Paul Custom Lite model with a very slender mahogany body, carved maple top, three-piece mahogany neck, and a rosewood fretboard.
The slender, contoured (front and back) body design means this EGW-80 weighs only 8lbs 5oz, offering plenty of warmth and sustain. The “Screamin’” humbuckers are wound in the PAF vein, yielding a clear tone with pronounced highs and tight low end, dynamic and comfortable with a variety of genres and playing styles. With vital, distinct sounds at each position on the selector switch; the bridge has gutsy honk, and the neck pickup is smooth and broad. This EGW-80 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
