Up for sale, a 1988 ESP 400 Series model T-454 in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and an ESP strap. The 400 Series guitars were crafted in Japan during the ‘80s (sometimes assembled in limited quantities in New York), featuring top-notch fit and finish work and faithfully capturing the look and sound of their American counterparts. This particular T-style guitar features a solid alder body and a one-piece maple neck with a V-shaped profile carve.
The tonewoods yeild a balanced, immediate acoustic response that is faithfully captured by the LH950 single coil pickups. These pickups deliver plenty of quintessential Tele shimmer and twang, with chewy, sparkling bite at the bridge and fuller bell-like tones at the neck that remain articulate. This ESP weighs 8lbs, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
