Up for sale, a 1988 Epiphone Casino in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order with a rare Violin Sunburst finish. Produced in Japan at the Terada factory, this is an early Epiphone reissue which preceded the "Elitist" line.

Acoustically, the fully hollow thinline body has a smooth, bright tone with great articulation, qualities captured by the P-90 pickups. The pickups are wound to vintage spec with plenty of midrange bark, and a glassy, percussive quality. Offering a refinement far beyond most modern Casinos, these pickups are sensitive to picking dynamics with an overarching sweetness and sparkling cut, equally suited to detailed cleans and rich overdrive. Featherweight at 6lbs 7oz, this Casino has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Violin Sunburst finish highlights light birdseye figuring in the maple on top, and cosmetic wear is limited to light buckle rash central to the back and just a few minor nicks on the body as a whole. The gloss on the neck profile is flawless.
