Up for sale, a 1987 Epiphone Casino in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, finished in Violin Sunburst and complete with the original hardshell case. Produced in Japan at the Terada factory, this is an early Epiphone reissue which preceded the "Elitist" line.
With a fully hollow thinline maple body and an exceedingly fast-feeling/slender maple neck, this Casino plays effortlessly with a smooth, bright natural acoustic tone. The pickups are wound to vintage spec with plenty of midrange bark, and a glassy, percussive quality, offering a refinement beyond most modern Casinos. Featherweight at 6lbs 6oz, this Casino has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
