Up for sale, a 1986 Fender "Order Made" Telecaster ‘52 vintage reissue model TL52-105 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with hangtags. This very early “Made in Japan” Tele was crafted at the Fujigen factory as part of the Order Made program (likely among the first Order Made instruments produced), a sort of Fender Japan Custom Shop that offered numerous non-catalog features.

A top tier model produced in sparingly small quantities, this Telecaster stands toe to toe with the earliest Fullerton and Corona-made '52 reissues, featuring a gloss nitro lacquer Butterscotch Blonde finish, American Vintage '52 pickups, brass bridge saddles, and vintage-spec hardware and plastics, with flathead screws used throughout.

Tonewoods include an ash body and one-piece maple neck, offering plenty of sustain, midrange detail and glassy note attack at 9lbs 14oz. The American Vintage '52 single coil pickups feature black fiber bobbins, a bridge position with flush-mounted poles and a brass baseplate, and cloth-covered leads, delivering punchy twang and silky bell-like chop. This Order Made '52 Telecaster TL52-105 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
