Up for sale, a 1985 Boss CE-3 Chorus in excellent condition and in perfect working order. A Japanese-made “green label” version of this pedal, the CE-3 was touted as a stereo version of the popular CE-2, delivering lush classic chorus tones that edge towards the sparkly hi-fi side of things. Controls include Depth and Rate, as well as a control that lets the player select the chorus effect’s spread across the stereo field. From slow three-dimensional swirl to quick rotary-like sounds which recall a Univibe, the CE-3 covers significant tonal ground.

There are just a couple tiny marks on the enclosure, the graphics are pristine, and the original trio of knobs are present. The serial number sticker is intact in the battery compartment, dating the pedal to December, 1985, and the green foil label is intact on the bottom.
