Up for sale, a 1984 ProCo Rat V2 "Big Box" distortion pedal in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Made in Kalamazoo, MI, and introduced in 1978, this early Rat has the essential LM308 chip at its heart, delivering the buzzsaw roar, sizzle, and cut that this tone rodent is known for. The original CTS pots date to the 1st week of 1984, and the circuit is untouched.

The silkscreened graphics are clean, with the "Filter" text that replaced "Tone" above on the central knob, signifying the "V2" designation. The original trio of knobs are present, and the original rubber feet are intact on the bottom of the enclosure.
