Up for sale, a 1980s Maxon UE-300 Multi-Effects in excellent condition and in perfect working order. An early and versatile multi-effects unit, the UE-300 pairs three of the most lauded Maxon/Ibanez circuits in one unit, only produced from 1983-85 (with both Maxon and Ibanez-branded iterations), with a CP9 Compressor/Limiter, TS9 Tube Screamer, and CS9 Stereo Chorus.
The signal path is Compressor/Limiter -> Tube Screamer -> Stereo Chorus, with an external effects loop that sits between the Tube Screamer and the Chorus, and dual outputs for the Stereo functionality of the Chorus. Naturally, the three effects can be engaged in tandem or alone, with independent footswitches for each, as well as a Master Power footswitch. A true pedalboard-in-a-box, there are a huge array of sounds that can be dialed up via this straightforward trio of effects, and the interplay between the three lends itself to rewarding experimentation.
Controls:
-Compressor/Limited: Attack Time, Threshold, Level
-Tube Screamer: Tone, Drive, Level
-Stereo Chorus: Width, Speed
There are just a handful of minor marks on the enclosure, with clean graphics and all original knobs. The original two-prong power cord is present.
