Up for sale, a 1980s Kawai F-I Jr. in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with a padded gigbag. This eye-catching Kawai sports a vibrant gloss Blue finish, released as part of the Fruits Color series. This Kawai takes its design cues from Alembic, featuring neck-through construction with a five-piece maple/mahogany neck, ash body wings, and a 24-fret rosewood fretboard.

The double cream bobbin humbuckers offer a combination of clarity, power, and tonal breadth. The neck position is full-sounding, and the bridge is hyper detailed and authoritative. Each humbucker also has a dedicated coil tap mini toggle for single coil sparkle and spank. Weighing 7lbs 14oz, this F-I Jr. has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.
