Crafted in Japan at the Fujigen factory in conjunction with the Ibanez Musician line of instruments, the GOII 750 shares many similarities with the better known Ibanez line. From the neck through maple body with solid ash body wings to the hardware used and scale length and nut width specs, the GOII 750 feels familiar and intuitive to play, with an incredible range of spanky, snarling tones. In many ways the Stratocaster you never knew you needed, the GOII 750 features an ingenious wiring design that unlocks all of the possible combinations of the three single coil pickups. The middle pickup has its own on\/off switch and dedicated Volume knob, making it easy to omit or blend in with the bridge and neck position single coils. The tone is ceaselessly big and bold with ample top end snap, and the neck through design delivers incredible sustain. Both the quick attack of maple and the complex midrange punch of the ash body wings contribute to a sound that is present and articulate. Professionally setup here at Mike \u0026amp; Mike's Guitar Bar and freshly restrung with 11-50 strings, this Greco plays easily and weighs 9lbs 6oz.The maple neck has a modestly chunky C shaped profile with just enough roundness in the shoulders, measuring .875” deep at the 1st fret and .910” at the 12th. The thick slab rosewood fretboard has a 10\" radius with dot inlay and stock medium jumbo fretwire. The frets retain their full factory height with plenty of meat, showing just a hint of wear exclusively beneath the plain strings on the crowns of frets 1-3. The neck has a 24 3\/4\" scale length with 24 frets and deep body cutaways that allow easy access to the highest registers of the fretboard. The nut mates both a sliver of bone and a piece of brass, measuring 1 11\/16\" in width and ensuring optimal note clarity and sustain. The headstock features an ash veneer with a dark Walnut finish, complete with the original metal Greco truss rod cover. The Greco Deluxe Kluson-style tuning machines turn very smoothly and work well even with liberal vibrato use.All of the electronics work as intended, and the controls function as follows:Knob 1: Bridge and Neck volumeKnob 2: Middle pickup volumeKnob 3: Master ToneThree-way switch: Bridge\/ Bridge + Neck \/ NeckTwo-way mini toggle: Middle pickup on\/offThe vibrato is also an extremely well thought out design with a centrally mounted arm (not included) so that the vibrato actuates with an even response across all strings. The vibrato utilizes one giant vibrato spring, horizontally mounted inside the body with adjustable tension and an extremely smooth response. The bridge has six saddles for optimal intonation and a two-point pivot design for the vibrato which would be adopted by Fender in the next decade. Additional key details include the brown pickup covers with a Fender Jaguar-esque shape, black claws around the coils, and nickel pickup surrounds. The trio of black speed knobs are identical to the ones found on Ibanez guitars from the same era, though the grippy rubber gaskets are no longer intact.Cosmetically, this guitar is notably clean, with light scuffs and nicks mostly relegated to the back lower bout edge, with a small concentration of finish scratches (shy of \"buckle rash\") adjacent to the belly contour.A vintage Greco-branded gigbag is included.","brand":"Greco","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":39884324143290,"sku":"F798592","price":1099.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0550\/4437\/4714\/products\/medium_66721880-1270-4a0b-85db-d4a9f45e8555.jpg?v=1751503220","url":"https:\/\/mmguitarbar.com\/products\/1979-greco-goii-750-vintage-neck-through-electric-guitar-s-style-japan-fujigen","provider":"Mike \u0026 Mike's Guitar Bar","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
