Up for sale, a 1979 Fender 25th Anniversary Stratocaster in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original molded hardshell case. Produced in limited quantities to commemorate the 25th year of Stratocaster production, this was Fender’s first-ever anniversary model instrument, boasting a gloss Porsche Silver finish and a trio of gray bobbin pickups.
Featuring an ash body and one-piece maple neck, this guitar also saw a return to the four-bolt neck plate and traditional truss rod adjustment at the neck heel, with the same tonewoods as its 1954 forbearer. The guitar weighs 9lbs 15oz, and the natural sustain combined with the tonewood complement ensures plenty of note definition and punch. The trio of gray bobbin flat pole pickups deliver spank and cut in the bridge position, with more round, bell-like tonalities when toggled to the neck. The five-way switch also provides easy access to the "in-between" settings for plenty of thinned-out cut and spank. This 25th Anniversary Stratocaster has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

Cosmetic wear is limited to a few light finish scratches central to the back (primarily limited to the tremolo cavity cover) and just a few minor dings and scuffs on the body, almost entirely relegated to the back and perimeter. The ambered gloss on the neck profile is smooth and clean.
The original molded hardshell case is included.
