An aesthetic update of the short-lived 450G, the 450G Deluxe retains the same core construction and electronics as its predecessor. Its unique aluminum neck construction results in near-endless natural sustain, with walnut inserts for palm comfort (and temperature), and the body is crafted from walnut with two central strips of maple.

Weighing 9lbs 7oz, the sonic authority and resonance of the instrument provide an ideal platform for the humbucker pair, with the glassy clarity provided by the Ebanol fingerboard. The humbuckers are clear and articulate, with extremely smooth trebles at the neck pickup and a punchy growl and snap at the bridge that has a thick, focused midrange response. This Kramer 450G Deluxe benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

Neck Specs:

- Neck: Aluminum, walnut
- Shape: Medium C, measuring .850” 1st fret, .935” 12th fret
- Fretboard: Ebanol slab, 16” radius, aluminum dot inlay
- Frets: Medium, light wear on frets 1-10
- Scale Length: 25”
- Nut: 1 11/16”, aluminum + zero fret
- Tuners: Schaller M6
- Serialization: Five-digit stamp on neck plate (1978)

Body Specs:

- Body: Black walnut, maple
- Pickups: Kramer humbuckers, Neck: 10.1k, Bridge: 9.7k
- Harness: CTS pots date to 1978 (bridge volume replaced, 2024), Sprague Orange Drop tone caps
- Controls: Volume x2, Tone x2, three-way pickup selector
- Hardware: Vintage-style six-saddle bridge
- Plastics: Black speed knobs

This is a very well-kept Kramer, with some faint buckle wear on the back, a few pinhead-sized dings on top and light finish scratches in the clear coat.
