Up for sale, a 1975 Gibson ES-335 TDC in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. Featuring a bold Cherry nitro lacquer gloss finish and an uncommon figured maple body, this ES-335 is a visual stunner, loaded with the original pair of T Top humbuckers.
Acoustically big, barking, and bold, this ES-335 TDC balances the immediacy and snap of maple and the tonal breadth of the semi-hollow construction. The T Top pickups are a perfect compliment to the 335's construction and tonewoods: the bridge pickup is clear, defined, and plenty warm, with a notably sponginess and harmonic bloom. With both pickups engaged it's easy to dial in an ideal rhythm tone that has percussive cut and roundness, and with the neck pickup singled out, things fatten up nicely while retaining sweet treble articulation. Weighing 7lbs 8oz, this ES-335 TDC has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Cherry nitro lacquer finish exhibits some very subtle vertical checking and highlights the notably dynamic figuring in the curly maple body. There is only very faint buckle wear central to the back and a few light scuffs and nicks on the body as a whole. The nitro gloss on the neck profile is smooth and clean.
A vintage (non-original) black tolex hardshell case is included.
