Up for sale, a 1973 Fender Stratocaster in 100% original, collector-grade condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case, hangtags and case candy. Featuring a practically perfect Natural gloss finish over an ash body, this vintage Stratocaster is both exceedingly well-kept and soulful, outfitted with its original trio of staggered pole alnico magnet black bobbin single coils.

Weighing 7lbs 15oz, the ash body and one-piece maple neck yields plenty of treble detail, complex midrange, and round, focused bass register punch. The black bobbin pickups deliver a distinct sound in each position on the three-way switch. The neck pickup is bold and deep, with a clear and spanky middle position, and a bridge pickup that offers both plenty of body and treble zing, with a fuller midrange character than most Strat bridge pickups. This Stratocaster benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with fresh 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss on the neck profile is flawless, with limited discoloration on the fingerboard.

The original black tolex hardshell case with raised Fender logo on the exterior is included and also notably well-kept with clean black leather ends, a trio of original functional latches, and the stock handle. One hangtag is included, along with a partial manual, the bridge cover and original cable.
