Up for sale, a 1973 Fender Precision Bass in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard, and acoustically the bass has a very balanced, smooth response. The bass weighs 8lbs 13oz, well-balanced on a strap and professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 flatwound strings, easy-playing action and accurate intonation.

The gloss Sunburst finish exhibits horizontal checking across the body, and the finish has gracefully aged to almost a two-tone appearance on top, while the back has a stronger central ring of red. There is an area of light buckle wear central to the back and some minor dings on the body as a whole, largely along the lower bout perimeter. The neck profile retains its smooth gloss, with just a few shallow marks along the profile length.
An era-correct black tolex hardshell case is included. The case features clean black leather ends, functional latches, the original handle and a raised Fender logo on the lid.
