Up for sale, a circa 1972 Gibson ES-335 TDW in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. 100% original save for an era-correct Bigsby B7, this ES-335 TDW features its stock pair of patent stickered T Top humbuckers.
Acoustically big, barking, and bold, this ES-335 TDW balances the immediacy and snap of maple and the tonal breadth of the semi-hollow construction. The T Top pickups are a perfect compliment to the 335's construction and tonewoods, with a bridge pickup that is clear, defined, and plenty warm, delivering notable punch and honk. With both pickups engaged it's easy to dial in an ideal rhythm tone that has percussive cut and roundness, and with the neck pickup singled out, things fatten up nicely while retaining sweet treble articulation. Weighing 8lbs 1oz, this ES-335 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Walnut nitro lacquer finish has light vertical checking, with an area of buckle rash central to the upper bout of the back, a small darkened spot of binding at the back bass-side waist, and some minor marks on the body, largely relegated to the back and lower bout perimeter. The nitro gloss on the neck profile is smooth to the palm, free of palm wear with just a few shallow marks.
A vintage Gibson black tolex hardshell case with red plush interior is included.
