Up for sale, a 1970s Maxon Compandor compressor/sustainer pedal in excellent condition and in perfect working order. This Japanese-made compressor has similar sonic characteristics to its small box, two-knob peers, delivering ample squish and sustain, with an inviting warmth and pillowy response. It’s an ideal “always-on” pedal, notably dynamic in its design, but can also be effectively used to accentuate solos and lead passages.

The simple two-knob design features Sustain and Level controls, capped by a replacement pair of knobs, and this pedal is powered by a 9V battery. The practically perfect foam pad and serialized sticker are intact on the back of the box.

A vintage Maxon box is included (branded for a compressor instead of the Compandor model).
