Up for sale, a 1967 Gibson ES-330 TD in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. A rare iteration of the ES-330 with a serial number batch that dates to ‘67, this is one of the very first “long neck” 330s, boasting a 19th fret neck joint, allowing easier access to the higher registers of the fretboard than the 16th fret joint seen on all earlier ES-330s.
With a fully hollow thinline maple body and a pair of potent P-90 pickups, this ES-330 is sensitive to picking dynamics, with glassy treble detail, textured midrange bark, and a clear, percussive quality in each pickup position. The neck pickup in particular has a silky, broad woof with fantastic harmonic bloom when notes ring out. Featherweight at 5lbs 15oz, this ES-330 TD benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

There is light overspray on the back of the headstock and one additional small area behind fret 5, but no structural repairs in this area. The lacquer is otherwise 100% original, with some vertical checking on the body. Cosmetic wear is limited to very light buckle rash central to the back and some small dings on the body as a whole. The nitro gloss on the neck is smooth and clean.
A vintage hardshell case is included. Worn, but structurally intact, the case features functional latches and a burgundy interior.
