Up for sale, a 1965 Rickenbacker 360 in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original silver tolex hardshell case. This is a second-year example of the "new style" 360 body, introduced in ‘64, with rounded edges on top and checkerboard binding framing the back, boasting a Fireglo gloss finish and a pair of Toaster Top pickups.
The 360's semi-hollow construction delivers a natural warmth and breadth, balanced by the articulation and treble detail of maple as a tonewood. These qualities are channeled faithfully via the alnico magnet Toaster Top pickups, and each pickup position has a distinct, chiming sound with Rickenbacker's unmistakable jangle. This 360 weighs 7lbs 8oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Fireglo finish shows some buckle wear on the back, a bit of pick scuffing on top, and some minor dings on the body as a whole consistent with use. The neck profile is smooth in the hand, with palm wear through the finish behind frets 2-9 that results in a worn-in, easy-playing feel. On the back of the headstock, there are small singular doweled and touched-up mounting holes from an aftermarket tuner set installed in the guitar’s lifetime.
The original silver tolex hardshell case is included. The case features functional latches and the original handle.
