This vintage short scale bass features a hollow body crafted from Masonite over a poplar frame, offering round note attack and smooth bark, featherweight at 5lbs 12oz. Strung with 45-100 flatwound strings, there’s a surprisingly wide array of tonalities via the lipstick single coil pickup for both round thump and tic-tac trebles. Rolling off the Tone knob yields smooth punch, with further tonal versatility achieved via the three-position Tone switch. This Danelectro 3412 Shorthorn has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with easy-playing action and accurate intonation.

The neck profile shows oxidation of the copper along the profile length.
